Mild Cam?

So I bought my stang off a guy a couple months ago who had the engine rebuilt at 50k. He doesnt remember the shop that rebuilt it so i cant do my homework and ask but everytime someone who is interested in stangs comes up and asks me if i have the 351 in it because the idle lopes pretty deep and it pulled away from an 08 GT on i-5 the other day no problem lol, is there anyway to know without ripping its guts out to tell if it had a mild cam put in when it was rebuilt?

Yeah, sorry.  The easiest way to find out the cam specs is to pull the numbers off of the nose of the cam....if the manufacturer labeled it there.  Otherwise, you're looking at pulling the cam to ID it.

rebuilt 5.0 HO msd ig. k & n filter, Mag flow pipes, and BBK headers nothin special... thats why im wonderin if in the rebuild it got a mild cam installed...

I had a fox with basically the same setup, running an e303 cam and 3:73 gears but I had no chance against the 197's.
If we meet well see if that 08' was a sixxer in discuise :p

not doubting you by the way, or putting you down. I just find it hard to believe  :tipshades:

or a bad driver!! HP dont mean a thing if you cant drive- my 2001 vert cobra has mopped up a few sn197and its stock with a k&n(perhaps xtra 200 hp there) and my

lol i know i was suprised! i really thought i was gonna get made a joke of but i guess not lol i guess im just drivin blind not knowin what i really got under the hood haha  :D
