We've been using a lot of these as of late.  We've had great results & no complaints as of yet.-

Baer Sport-Touring Pads

The newest member of the Baer family, the Baer SPORT-TOURING Brake Pad line, offers impressive friction levels and completely tame street manners. This added performance with negligible amounts of dust and low noise makes these pads a great enhancement for stock brake systems, as well a natural compliment to Baer Claw® Systems. Baer SPORT-TOURING pads offer the best Domestic coverage for cars and trucks in the performance market with more than 1,500 vehicle applications. Over three hundred additional part numbers for foreign and domestic applications are being released over the coming twelve months. Baer SPORT-TOURING compound are the logical choice to deliver performance without compromising civility.

Ceramic Matrix delivers:

•High Friction•Low Noise
•Light Dust
•Smooth Linear Feel
High-Friction compound delivers dramatic / repeatable performance. Positive-Molding process ensures low compressibility and positive pedal feel. Rubberized, mechanically-fixed anti-noise shims virtually eliminate noise.

Doh, I would have went with those on my car had I have known about them since it had Baer brakes.
I want a car so violent that the mere thought of full throttle would cause a heart attack. That actually going wide open throttle in would result in nothing less than instant death! http://www.realperformancemustangs.com/

Hmmm which way to go. Hawk ceramics or the Baer Sport tourers.
What do you guys use for brake fluid for road courses?
I want to get my brakes upgraded and worked in before I hit the 3 mile track.

I usually either use the MOTUL stuff, or ATE Super Blue.  Although it's nice to have good brake fluid, it's more important for it to be fresh and not have any water in it.

Castrol GTLMA or a DOT 4 fluid works just fine.
Once the fluid is fresh and the system is flushed of any moisture, your pads will probably cause fade before you ever experience any fluid boiling!

I ran the Motul fluid just as an added safeguard, the last thing you want to worry about when coming down from very high speeds is the brakes. But it would take alot of abuse to actual cause FRESH the brake fluid to boil, and you would have experienced huge brake fade before then.

All right I corrected it.... :)

I boiled the fluid in my GT in the past and in Jodi's Cobra last summer at Hot Laps.  Both vehicles were probably due for a complete bleed though.

I certainly was.  But you gotta get the car stopped, otherwise the ride gets a little bumpy.

I think I've made up my mind.

I'm going to shop for the best price I can find on HPC pads, I ended up with about 150 in my paypal account from selling some stuff so it would be nice to be able to use that money so I will probably have to find them on Ebay or a private seller.

I still have some pad life so I'm thinking I will hold off installing them until I can get rotors also.

I see quite a few cheap rotors on ebay, but I think that I will hold out for a set of powerslot's. Any thoughts?
