Well, everyone I have wanted a 1996 Mystic Cobra since I can remember and have come close to buying one many of times it was my eleanor hahaha.  Anyways here's the story I have been talking to the previous owner about buying this car for over a year.  Its a 1996 Mystic with 87k on it with a little bit of front end damage, but totally fixable and is currently at the bodyshop getting all fixed up.  I have a few plans with it, it will be receiving 03-04 Cobra wheels, SLP Loudmouth Exhaust, X-Pipe, Short Shifter and maybe a few other goodies hahaha.  Anyways, I know it looks bad and that paint is very expensive but I have a few tricks up my sleeve?? Plus I know of a really good detailer who will make this car look brand new!!!!!Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! See ya all at the car shows

New News
Since, the last update all the frame and front end work has been accomplished, it will soon be going into the body shop since I have aquired an OEM hood.  The paint was polished to get all the sap off of it.  The windows were tinted last weekend, Steeda Tri-Ax installed, Canton Radiator expansion tank installed, 2003 Chrome Cobra Rims added,Ford Racing wires
MSD Igntion Coils.

JLT Cold Air intake
Bassani X pipe
SLP Loudmouth exhaust
BBK Underdrive Pullies
BBK 62MM Throttle Body

I have been in love with the Mystics ever since the day I bought the old '96 Cobra.  It was laser red, and thus a hot little coupe, but boy did I ever long for a Mystic.  Everyone and their grandma owns a Cobra up here or so it would seem, but you just don't see any mystics running wild, or if you do it is only on the rarest of occasions.

Hot find, body damage or not.  Sounds like you're planning on keeping this one and not selling it eh Greg?

(P.S. Gary that is by far the greatest little snip-it of avatar pictures I've seen yet)   :tipshades:

Ya, ill be keeping this.  This will be the car that my GF will be entering in car shows to win a bunch of awards she says hahaha.  Pics will be posted when I get back from Mexico next week when she is all finished up.

 Congrats! If you want to know a little history about the car I can tell you the last two dealerships that sold it, how it got the dent in the front, and the previous owner (who is registered on this site).

 I will let Chris know it will finally be getting fixed!

 Did a couple epic burn outs in that car....... :-\
