Yeah.... it's only 13 to 14 hours from Tacoma to San Fran, but not sure if everyone would want to.  I would, then it would give us a full day to see San Fran.... used to live there myself so it would be cool to see the old place, and maybe do the Napa wine thing (lived there too).

But a straight shot south including a Hwy 101 cruise would make it a 16 hour drive, and that's a tad much.  Might just stay in Medford, get up early the next morning and cruise the Californian coast all the way to San Fran (this would be the thursday prior to the Mile)

I'd prefer to haul ass in one direction or the other, but not both.  Seeing a few things along besides just cars would be nice.

We'll have plenty of time to discuss this.  I'm still uncertain to whom the 6 are that voted YES they are going, besides yourself and I.  I would like to hear what they think as well.

I definitely would like a coastal cruise.  And make it spirited.  I would also like to spend an entire month down there, but time is a factor.

Can't speak for the whole pack but personally I know I'll be staying in a cozy Huntington Beach hotel.

Most of the Cali guys stay at the hotel across the street from Knotts, but being tourists last year and again this year we feel it more fun to stay close to the "action" that is Huntington Beach.  And good god was it ever beautiful last year!  100 degrees, on a sandy beach.  Knock on wood but I'm praying it is half as nice this year.

Kev, I'm still waiting for your car to have two installed axles and four installed wheels before I consider you 100% absolutely going.  :fight:

Axles check.  Tires check.  Tabs?  Gas tank?  Supercharger?  We shall see.

Time to get the registrations in folks.  Come the end of March they don't accept any more.  Looks to be another small group going again this year.  Ahhh well, more beer for me.   :tipshades:

If there weren't 4 pages of crap to sort through you'd see the dates.  I may edit out a lot of the BS posts in hopes to keep this strictly factual.

Wednesday-prior to Friday-post show, factor being off work if you're going.  That's 8 M-F days off for me, 10 days in total, rolling right into the following weekend.  Which would be great for seeing California.

All's I can swing is 8 full days of vacation.  I'm not getting a lot of feedback so my plan right now is to get with Stevo, have he and I plan this trip out, post what our agenda is on here, and let those who wish to partake, follow along.

I will make an Excel spreadsheet and attach it very soon.

Added a very tentative and incomplete itinerary to the original post.  Much to be determined at this juncture.
